On February 21st and 22nd, 2024, SHBS held the club promotion and recruitment activities for the new semester. A total of 37 clubs were established this semester, and the addition of fresh blood has made club activities more interesting! In the auditorium, everyone attentively listened to the passionate speeches from the club presidents.

Sports Clubs

In addition to the existing sports clubs from last year, such as the Football Club,Basketball Club, Badminton Club, Cycling Club, and Table Tennis Club, several new clubs have been established this year like the Tennis Club and the Cube Club. By participating in these clubs, new students can better integrate into the community, sweat it out on the green fields with like-minded individuals, exercise their bodies, and improve their physical fitness. Whether it's the thrill of swinging a racket or the passion of running on the court, students can enjoy the fun and sense of achievement that sports bring.

Language and Culture Clubs

Round Table Club, Dubbing Club, Debate Club, Chess Club, Photography Club, and Plant Research Club, Interdisciplinary Academic Exchange Club... As international school students, they are good at integrating and understanding Western culture while inheriting traditional Chinese culture. Chess Club promotes Chinese Chess culture, cultivating thinking skills through wisdom and strategy in the game; the Debate Club enhances English expression and logical thinking skills, exercising dialectical thinking and debate techniques; Dubbing Club strengthens oral skills, experiencing the charm of collective dubbing and exploring the art of sound expression; Round Table Club encourages students to turn various ideas and thoughts into written statements through active communication and discussions. By participating in these club activities, students can not only improve their language skills but also broaden their horizons and enrich their cultural literacy.

Community Impact and Public Welfare Clubs

After the presentations, students eagerly prepared to learn more about the clubs at the recruitment booths, hoping to join them. The recruitment corridor was filled with various posters, and club presidents warmly greeted students to scan QR codes to obtain more information about the clubs. With laughter and joy, the club recruitment activities for this semester concluded successfully. It is hoped that students will have the opportunity to experience various cultures, participate in activities they enjoy, and interact with like-minded individuals through club activities. Through these activities, students can make friends with similar interests, cultivate their hobbies, and develop their talents.
