On April 18, 2025, the warm spring breeze blew across the track and field of   SHBS, announcing the arrival of the annual sports event. On this day, the campus lost its usual tranquility and was replaced by the pulse of youth and the passion for competition. Teachers and students from 16 administrative classes in the school gathered here to write a chapter of sweat and glory together

At 7:55 in the morning, the opening ceremony kicked off on time. Accompanied by majestic music, the square formations of each class walked confidently and head held high into the venue. This is not just a simple parade, but also a concentrated display of the creativity and style of each class: the students are dressed in uniform and energetic, and the class signs held high in their hands are uniquely designed, embodying the wisdom and characteristics of the class. Some classes marched in unison, bringing a vibrant elementary school radio gymnastics performance, awakening the memory of classics; some classes showed vigorous martial arts routines, showing the Chinese style in every move; and some classes danced to the dynamic beat, igniting the passion of the audience with their graceful dance moves. 

The various special performances won rounds of applause, and the slogans resounding through the sky are the best footnotes to the vigorous vigor of the teenagers. Principal Chris delivered an enthusiastic opening speech, and the athlete representative Gu Mingrui and the referee representative Xie Bo solemnly swore and promised to participate in the competition with the spirit of fair competition. With the resounding announcement by Principal Chen Wenguo, the various events of the sports meeting officially kicked off.

The court instantly turned into an arena of speed and passion. On the 100-meter track, the athletes passed by like a gust of wind, and the moment of sprinting captured the power of youth. The 800-meter and 1000-meter long-distance races are a double test of endurance and will, and every drop of sweat shines with the light of persistence. The 4x200-meter mixed relay race showed teamwork to the fullest, with the small baton passed in the hands, connecting trust and common goals. In addition to traditional track and field events, this sports meeting also set up many fun and skill-based competitions: rowing machine relay tests cooperation and endurance, fixed-point shooting, volleyball hitting the wall, and table tennis juggling show personal precision control, skipping rope flying, golf light push, big rope dancing... Every event attracted students to participate actively, and laughter and cheering intertwined, forming the most beautiful melody on campus.

In addition to competition, the brilliance of sportsmanship also shines. This Games upholds the tenet of "friendship, fairness, hard work, and progress", and specially set up the "Sportsmanship and Style Award" and "Class Design Award". The athletes respect their opponents, obey the referees, and show good sportsmanship. The volunteers, referees, and staff on the sidelines are also conscientious and dedicated, silently contributing to jointly ensure the fairness and smoothness of the event.

At 1:50 p.m., with the end of various competitions, the closing ceremony was held as scheduled. Chief referee Ms. Long Chengfeng announced the exciting results of the competition. School leaders awarded medals, certificates and trophies to individuals and groups with outstanding results, and also presented honors to classes that won the Sports Morality and Style Award and the Class Card Design Award. With Principal Liu Liu's concluding remarks and the announcement of a successful conclusion, the 2025 Spring Sports Meet of Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School slowly came to an end.
