This is a cross-disciplinary exhibition led and curated by students, showcasing their achievements in science and art. It reflects the breadth of their thinking, the depth of their practice, and the diversity of their expression.
With the theme “Logic in All Things, Form in All Visions,” this event celebrates the fusion of scientific rationality and artistic sensibility, growing together in the learning journey.
PART 01
Science Exhibition · Logic
Diverse Project Showcase
Spanning six disciplines—mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, and computer science—the exhibition presents student-led research projects.

(往年科学展回顾)
From mechanical designs like catapults and electromagnetic launchers, to statistical modeling and economic data analysis based on real-world issues, and further to cutting-edge explorations such as applications of large language models, students demonstrate interdisciplinary thinking and the ability to transform knowledge into real-world solutions.

Immersive Interactive Experiences
Science Detective Workshop
l Solve simulated cases using biochemical testing and logical reasoning, training critical thinking through experimental deduction.

(往年科学展回顾)
Engineering Challenges
l Participate in bridge load design and tackle the laser maze, exploring the practical fun of engineering principles through hands-on engagement.

Art Exhibition · Form
PART 2
The art exhibition features student works from Material Arts and Fine Arts courses, combining traditional techniques with contemporary expression. These works reflect students’ understanding of materials, color, structure, and spatial design:
Cloisonné Enamel
l Intricate designs outlined with fine metal wires, filled with glaze, merging traditional craftsmanship with Eastern aesthetics.
Coil-Building Technique
Hand-built ceramics using the coil method, expressing structure and proportion through layered form.
Fluid Art Paintings
Flowing pigments and spontaneous compositions that explore the balance between control and chance.
Moss Texture Painting
Yarn is used to mimic moss shapes, combining natural materials and visual language to evoke quiet reflection on ecological beauty.
Acrylic Paintings & Foil Relief Art
Vibrant color and three-dimensional effects used to express personal visual perspectives.
Yarn Collage & Photography
Discovering poetic moments of daily life through texture, line, and light.

Lacquer Fan Experience
A Lacquer Fan Workshop will also be held on the day of the exhibition, inviting both students and parents to participate.
Immerse yourself in the charm of traditional craftsmanship by designing your own fan using floating lacquer patterns and dynamic compositions.

Flea Market
We will also have a flea market organized by our graduating students, featuring second-hand books, handmade crafts, creative accessories, and more.
In addition to the science and art exhibition, this student-led market adds a warm and lively touch to the event—a space for exploration, exchange, and community spirit.

(往年跳蚤市场回顾)
Science goes far beyond textbooks. Art begins with the perception of life.
Here, students begin with curiosity and move forward through practice—turning knowledge into creation, and thought into expression.
Each piece is a reflection of their learning journey, and a unique window into how they see the world and the future.
Time:
12:45-14:30 / 2025.05.23
Place:
Science Building, Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School (No.178, Kezhiyuan Road, Qingpu District)
We warmly welcome you to join this celebration of young explorers and their many ways of seeing, thinking, and making.
