8月22日，夏意仍浓，宏润博源校园里涌动着青春的喧嚣。正午刚过，新生们便已陆续抵达，炽热的阳光未能减弱他们的蓬勃朝气，反而将这份初见的热情催化得愈发浓烈。

午后，教师与学长们早早守候在科学楼报到处，为陆续抵达的新生与家长提供指引和帮助。学长们利落地协助搬运沉重的行李箱，几位老师站在一旁温和地指引，笑容亲切，校长和教师们与新生共同合影，用相机定格下这值得纪念的开端。

15点，新生们统一身着由学长学姐参与设计的营服，整齐就座于礼堂。开营仪式由王伟老师和苗老师共同主持。Chris校长随后登台，以轻松幽默的话语迅速拉近了师生之间的距离，场内不时响起笑声与掌声。随后，学长姜同学和谢同学分别发言，以自身经历鼓励新生积极融入、勇敢尝试。

晚饭前，王老师清晰宣读了学生手册与各项规章，Grace老师向全体新生发出邀请，鼓励大家积极参与学生干部的竞选。

吃完晚饭，在宿舍短暂地休息过后，大家再次共聚礼堂，参加激动人心的学生干部竞选。起初会场略显安静，但很快便有第一位同学走上台前。夜幕降临，礼堂灯火通明，竞选现场气氛热烈。尽管有些同学难掩紧张，声音微颤，但每个人都坚持完成了自己的演讲，赢得了真诚的鼓励与掌声。

仪式散场时，夜空明净，月朗星稀。蝉声仍断续作响，却掩不住校园中洋溢的兴奋与活力。微风拂过，散去白日的燥热，校园重归宁静，充实而美好的第一天缓缓落下帷幕，更多精彩，仍在路上。

On August 22nd, the warmth of summer still lingered, and the SHBS campus buzzed with youthful energy. Shortly after noon, a group of new students arrived one after another. The blazing sunlight did nothing to dampen their enthusiasm—instead, it amplified the excitement of their first encounter.  

In the afternoon, teachers and student volunteers were already waiting at the registration area in the Science Building, ready to guide and assist arriving students and parents. Senior students efficiently helped carry heavy luggage, while several teachers stood nearby, offering warm smiles and directions. The principal and faculty members took commemorative photos with the newcomers, capturing this meaningful beginning. 

At 3 PM, the students—all dressed in camp T-shirts designed by their seniors—gathered neatly in the auditorium. The opening ceremony was co-hosted by Vice Principal Ms. Ma and Principal Assistant Ms. Wang. Principal Chris then took the stage, breaking the ice with lighthearted humor that quickly bridged the gap between teachers and students, eliciting frequent laughter and applause. Following his speech, senior students Jiang and Xie shared their experiences, encouraging the newcomers to actively engage and embrace new challenges. 

Before dinner, Ms. Wang clearly outlined the student handbook and school regulations, while Ms. Grace extended an invitation to all students, urging them to participate in student leadership elections.   

After a short rest in the dormitories, everyone reconvened in the auditorium for the highly anticipated student leadership campaign. Initially, the atmosphere was quiet, but soon the first student stepped forward. As night fell, the auditorium remained brightly lit, filled with an electric energy. Though some students spoke with nervous tremors, each one persevered through their speeches, earning sincere encouragement and applause.  

By the time the event concluded, the night sky was clear, adorned with a bright moon and scattered stars. The intermittent chirping of cicadas could not overshadow the excitement and vitality radiating across the campus. A gentle breeze swept away the day’s heat, restoring tranquility to the school grounds. Thus, the fulfilling and wonderful first day came to a close, with many more exciting moments yet to come.
