Volleyball Club

Frisbee Club

Geoguessr Club

Lure Fishing Club

Therapeutic Game Lab

World Shaper Club

Youth Service World Club

Meow Meow Land

Secrets of Life Club

Meow Meow Land

At the start of the 2026 spring semester, Qingpu Hongrun Boyuan School's club recruitment drive kicked off in full swing. During the club presentations held on Tuesday and Wednesday, club presidents took turns taking the stage to enthusiastically introduce their clubs and recruit new members. Clubs are not merely extracurricular activities; they serve as vital platforms for students to learn collaboration, develop a sense of responsibility, cultivate talents, and practice emotional regulation within the school environment.

A total of 32 clubs presented on stage, covering a diverse range of fields. Here are descriptions of some representative ones:

1

Sports & Teamwork

Volleyball Club

It's more than just "playing volleyball." The presentation highlighted the club's keywords: sports, friendship, and community atmosphere. Activities cover training and actual games, as well as discussions about watching matches and understanding tactics. The club also plans more inter-club interactions and a more complete schedule of activities, allowing everyone to continuously improve within the team.

Frisbee Club

Absolute beginners are welcome. The presentation started with basic skills: throwing, catching, and the principles of spinning. It also systematically introduced the rules, organized games, and planned for external exchanges and friendly matches. The goal is to upgrade "playing for fun" to "playing skillfully" and turn teammates into friends.

2

Exploration & Learning

Geoguessr Club

This is not "just a gaming club." The presentation emphasized it's more like a learning system: training location skills starting from macro clues, such as road infrastructure, man-made landscapes, environmental and administrative features, combined with targeted practice. It's suitable for students who enjoy observing, reasoning, and the world of maps.

Lure Fishing Club

The presentation focused on "environmental protection and sustainability." Activities are scheduled for Tuesday club time, welcoming beginners and experienced members alike. Equipment can be self-provided or purchased through club fees. Students interested in experiencing the outdoors and practicing focus and patience should pay attention.

3

Creation & Engineering

Therapeutic Game Lab

This club blends psychology and narrative: conducting interviews and insight discussions, building story frameworks and branching structures, and exploring visual concepts. The presentation mentioned that a playable prototype was developed last semester. This semester's plan is to implement it in RPG Maker and finalize the complete storyline, allowing students who want to "turn stories into works" to make it a reality.

World Shaper Club

The keyword is "doing projects." The presentation gave examples like electronic clock circuit boards and bionic butterflies. The model emphasizes collaborative exploration and completion. Gains cover embedded development, circuit board design, 3D printing, programming, and project planning. It's also suitable for students wanting to turn interests into skills and portfolio pieces.

4

Action & Connection

Youth Service World Club

The focus for this term is the "Lakeside Citizen Action Day." The presentation mentioned starting from the "lakeside/neighborhood" to build connections with the community, venturing into different corners of Zhujiajiao community. Internally, the club focuses on activity preparation, resource integration, and execution. It's suitable for students who want to take real action and turn ideas into impact.

Meow Meow Land Club (Student Development Committee)

This is an action line focused on "caring for details in practice." The presentation stated that cat shelters have already been built. Subsequent work will involve optimizing waterproofing and insulation, gardening and beautification, and planning play areas with cat toys and scratching posts. They will also do promotional work and merchandise, organizing more participatory activities to involve more people in caregiving and co-creation.

5

Healing & Companionship

Secrets of Life Club (Animal Exploration)

The presentation focused on "interacting with real animals to relieve stress." Activity examples include interacting with small animals and hatching chicks without shells. It's suitable for students seeking comfort in a stressful academic pace, who are also willing to seriously learn about life and animal care.

Meow Meow Land Club (Student Development Committee)

If you need a more stable sense of companionship, don't overlook this line. The presentation talked not only about "cuteness" but also about long-term maintenance: optimizing cat shelters, beautifying the environment, and building play areas are all in the plan. For students who love animals and are willing to participate in ongoing co-creation, it's a gentle but firm choice.

6

Conclusion

After the two days of presentations ended and the stage lights dimmed, a sense of certainty grew in many students' hearts: it turns out there are so many "like-minded people" and "things we can do together" on campus. We hope clubs bring not just activities themselves, but also—someone waiting for you after class to train together, to work on projects, to go out, to turn inspiration into a creation; someone to give you a hand when you're busy, and someone to share your joy with when you're happy. We believe our students will all be able to choose their favorite clubs and enrich their lives for the coming semester!
