预备年级的活动主要围绕升学,尽管同学们离实际升学还有一段时间,但希望通过此次活动帮助大家尽早建立对升学的初步认识,为新学期乃至未来的发展指明方向。
活动中,升学指导老师首先概述了升学全过程,从中学积累到申请择校,并以生动的比喻将升学比作一场旅程,强调预备年级正是起点,帮助同学们建立更直观的认识。
升学老师还重点讲解了该阶段需培养的核心学习能力,如高效掌握新知识、自主学习等,并鼓励大家积极探索兴趣,为未来专业选择奠定基础。通过往届学生的真实案例,她让同学们意识到当前每一分努力都在为升学积蓄力量。
同学们认真聆听、积极互动,纷纷就学习方法、专业发展等提出问题,老师也一一给予专业而清晰的解答。
此次活动不仅让同学们收获了实用的升学知识,更在学期之初明确了方向。大家表示将更有目标地投入学习,为未来的升学之路做好准备,让青春在追梦途中绽放光彩。
The Pre-Grade activities focused on higher education pathways. Although actual college applications are still some time away, the aim was to help students build an early understanding of the process and point them toward future development.
The guidance counselor began by outlining the entire application journey, from academic accumulation to school selection, likening it to a long voyage. She emphasized that Pre-Grade is the starting point, helping students form a clearer, more intuitive picture.
She also highlighted core learning abilities needed at this stage—such as efficient knowledge acquisition and independent learning—and encouraged students to explore their interests as a foundation for future academic choices. Using real cases from alumni, she showed that every bit of effort now contributes to future success.
Students listened attentively, interacted actively, and asked thoughtful questions about study strategies and academic planning, which the counselor answered with clarity and professionalism.
The session not only provided practical knowledge about higher education but also gave students clear direction at the start of the semester. Many said they now feel more motivated to study with purpose, preparing themselves to shine on their future academic journey.

十年级以“知己、知他、知前路”为主线,引领同学们在探索与分享中共同成长。
活动从一场宁静的冥想与拉伸开始,同学们在舒缓的音乐中放松身心,学会倾听自我、安顿当下,真正实现了“知己”。随后的“闪光点书写”环节充满温暖与感动,每位同学匿名為同伴写下真诚的赞美。那些日常中被忽略的闪光点——一次勇敢的发言、一种坚持的态度、一份默默的善意——被一一发现和传递。同学们在“知他”中学会欣赏,也更坚定了自我的价值。
最后,学长学姐们登台分享,从学术竞赛、社团活动到暑期夏令营和夏校,细致解析各类经历对升学的帮助,为同学们指明了“知前路”的方向。整场活动不仅缓解了学业压力,更构建了彼此支持的成长共同体。愿十年级学子带着这份自知、互信与前瞻,步履从容,走向更广阔的未来!
Know the path ahead
The Grade 10 activities centered on the theme “Know Yourself, Know Others, Know the Path Ahead.”
The session began with meditation and stretching, allowing students to relax, listen to themselves, and embrace the present—truly achieving “Know Yourself.” Next came the “Shining Points Writing” activity, where each student anonymously wrote down genuine compliments for their peers. Overlooked moments of courage, persistence, and kindness were rediscovered and celebrated. In “Knowing Others,” students learned to appreciate one another while also affirming their own worth.
Finally, senior students shared their experiences—from academic competitions and club activities to summer camps and international programs—demonstrating how each contributed to higher education applications. These stories helped clarify “Knowing the Path Ahead.”
The event not only eased academic stress but also built a supportive growth community. With deeper self-awareness, mutual trust, and foresight, Grade 10 students are ready to walk confidently toward a broader future.

Grade 11
十一年级以班级为单位,围绕“团结,友爱,欢乐”主题开展了多样活动,旨在增强凝聚力,让学生体验团结的力量,共度欢乐时光,加深彼此情感。
一班开展了“共同点寻找”和“班级贡献思考”活动。学生分组寻找组内共同点,最多的小组可获得奖励。过程中,大家逐渐敞开心扉,分享个人经历与特点,气氛轻松融洽,笑声不断,新生对班级和同学的了解进一步加深。
二班进行了“海盗水手”游戏。尽管规则简单,却很考验反应力。大家围坐一圈,从开始有些生疏、出错,到后来默契配合,互动热烈,打破了彼此之间的陌生与沉默,为未来两年共处奠定了良好基础。
三班以“创造个人IP”为主题,每个学生根据自身爱好和特质设计IP形象,经班主任反馈修改后,将整合成班级创意集体照,用于日后活动,为班级生活增添创意色彩。
四班通过协作布置教室锻炼团队配合能力。学生分工完成海报设计、装饰粘贴等任务,在不断沟通与创新中统一意见、提升默契,不仅高效美化了教室,也体现出集体协作的成果。
五班组织了一项抽象而有趣的绘画活动:每个人在四分之一张A4纸上绘制人物身体的一部分,最后拼接成完整形象。这些滑稽可爱的人物既反映出学生不同的个性与创造力,也让大家在创作中享受乐趣。
Grade 11 organized a variety of class-based activities under the theme “Unity, Friendship, Joy.” These were designed to enhance cohesion, foster camaraderie, and create joyful shared experiences.
Class 1 engaged in “Finding Commonalities” and “Class Contribution” discussions. Students opened up, shared personal experiences, and laughed together, helping newcomers integrate and strengthening the class bond.
Class 2 played the “Pirate Sailor” game. What began with awkward mistakes soon turned into lively interaction and smooth cooperation, breaking down barriers and setting the stage for two years of shared growth.
Class 3 created “Personal IP” characters, designed around each student’s interests and traits. These will be integrated into a creative class photo, adding personality and creativity to class life.
Class 4 collaborated to decorate their classroom, from poster design to decoration setup. The process fostered communication, creativity, and teamwork, resulting in both a more vibrant classroom and stronger group cohesion.
Class 5 took part in a quirky art activity: each student drew a quarter of a figure on an A4 sheet, and the pieces were later assembled into whimsical, collective portraits. The results reflected diverse personalities and creativity while sparking laughter and fun.

十二年级的活动在轻松而充满活力的氛围中拉开帷幕。
首先,由赛艇队的赵教练带领大家进行身体舒展训练。她指导同学们完成了一系列拉伸与热身动作,帮助大家放松紧张的肌肉,调整身体状态。赵教练强调,良好的身体舒展不仅是运动的基础,更能有效缓解压力,为接下来的学习生活注入能量,这正如赛艇运动一样,需要协调、节奏与持久的耐力。
随后,活动进入第二部分——强调申请季要注意的重要内容。首先,Chris校长以“拉伸自己”为喻,鼓励同学们在申请季中勇于突破自我舒适区,合理规划时间、挖掘个人潜力,以更从容的心态应对挑战。紧接着,Nicholas老师和Chuman老师为同学们梳理了申请季中至关重要的时间节点。他详细强调了ED、EA以及加州系学校申请的截止日期,提醒大家务必提前准备材料、合理安排提交时间,避免最后一刻的匆忙。他还建议同学们保持清晰的日程管理,并且在准备申请的过程中及时和老师们保持沟通。
活动的最后一部分是心理冥想环节,由Joon老师引导。她分享到在繁忙的申请季中,保持有意识的觉察非常重要。随后,她带领大家体验冥想的基本技巧——呼吸练习,指导同学们吸气三秒、呼气五秒,通过深长而平稳的呼吸来放松身心。Joon鼓励大家每天坚持三到五分钟的冥想练习,借此机会回顾过去、展望未来,从而减轻压力、增强专注力。许多同学在轻柔的引导中慢慢平静下来,感受到了内心的宁静与力量。
整场活动不仅涵盖了身体层面的准备,还关注了时间规划与心理调节,为十二年级同学们顺利度过申请季提供了全方位的支持。
Grade 12’s session combined relaxation, planning, and mindfulness, providing comprehensive support for the application season.
It began with stretching exercises led by rowing coach Ms. Zhao, helping students release tension, adjust their bodies, and re-energize. She emphasized that just like rowing, life requires coordination, rhythm, and endurance.
Next, Principle Chris encouraged students to “stretch themselves” during application season—stepping out of their comfort zones, managing time wisely, and unlocking potential. Teacher Nicholas and Teacher Chuman then reviewed crucial application deadlines, from ED/EA to UC schools, reminding students to prepare early and avoid last-minute stress. They also stressed the importance of clear schedules and regular communication with teachers.
The final part was a mindfulness meditation guided by Ms. Joon. She emphasized the value of conscious awareness during busy times and led students through breathing exercises—inhale for three seconds, exhale for five. She encouraged a daily practice of 3–5 minutes to reduce stress, enhance focus, and reflect on past experiences while envisioning the future. Students found calm and inner strength in the process.
The session addressed physical, academic, and psychological preparation, offering Grade 12 students all-round guidance for navigating the challenges of application season.

此次分年级CAS活动内容丰富、形式多样,真正关注并回应了每一个成长阶段的内在需求。从Pre年级的升学启蒙,到十二年级的申请助力;从知己知他的情感培养,到协作共创的集体建设——教育在适当的时分,以适当的方式,为每一位学生提供了恰如其分的支持。而这,也正是个性化教育最动人的实践。
This grade-based CAS Day was rich in content and diverse in form, truly responding to the developmental needs of students at every stage. From early guidance in Pre-Grade to application support in Grade 12; from self-awareness and empathy to teamwork and creativity—education met students at the right time, in the right way, with the right support. This is personalized education at its most inspiring.
