This concept has been reflected in the daily teaching of SHBS. Joshua Smith mentioned that 'when encountering problems in research, hypothesis creation, writer's block, and identifying project topics, I tell them to think about their questions in an interdisciplinary fashion. If you're not making progress on your topic from a biology perspective, reframe the question from an Historians perspective--or an Anthropologist's, or Sociologist's, or Psychologist's perspective. I find this helps with both diversifying student engagement, as well as problem solving when it comes to project based learning.
